Montreal Trudeau International Airport
Launched in 2000, the airport expansion program, which includes the reconstruction of several terminal components, is designed to double capacity and substantially improve the quality of service to users. This large-scale project, representing an investment of more than $700 million in three phases, is being financed entirely by Aéroports de Montréal, without government grants. The work is progressing on budget and on schedule, with Phase I completed and Phase II well under way.
A whole host of other individual projects, aimed at improving customer service, increasing operating efficiency or generating additional revenues for Aéroports de Montréal, is also planned. In addition, Aéroports de Montréal maintains the existing buildings, runways and equipment according to established life-cycle-management schedules, and these investments are made on a on-going basis.
